A confluence of cultures, traditional Indian and Feng Shui!

Some metal, some wood and a little bit of green! Thisparticular theme is in the living-cum-dining room towards the veneer wall unit.

The intricate details on the front of the Urli

The intricately carved brass urli is placed on a raised wooden mantle and is one of the main artifacts in this area.

The goddess Saraswati flanked by peacocks

The urli depicts Goddess Saraswati in the center of the arch with peacocks on either side. On occasions such as Holi and Diwali, I decorate this piece with floating LED candles and gerbera/marigold flowers.

There is a sense of uniqueness to the wooden planter which is placed on a brass bajot/ chowki at a lower level as compared to the urli.
