We might give many reasons why we often fail to make the best use of the cupboard we have, the answer however, is pretty simple and straightforward. You just don't yet know about the ways in which we can achieve these seemingly impossible tasks.
Cupboards, come in various sizes and thankfully not in different shapes, that would be well, ah, something to see. Nowadays, cupboards seem to have a tough competitor at their side, a chair. People are more inclined to dump all their clothes on any random chair rather than organise them properly in their cupboards.
This might be because of the lack of time we are able to give to organising our cupboard, while it is understandable, it is not acceptable at all. Come on, your cupboard is something that has been with you for a long time, and no one's fault but yours if your cupboard is messy and unorganised. It is not just about giving time and attention, you got to have that thing of sorting things out just so it will be convenient for you in the future.
So here we come to the rescue, it doesn't have to be like that anymore! This blog is all about helping you get your closet game up, like really really up!
Come on then, without further delay let us get into the blog!
1. Empty out your cupboard:
The first and foremost rule is to always get it all out of the cupboard, your clothes, accessories, and anything that's in it. When you empty it all out, you get the gist of how much work needs to be done. This is one of the easiest rules to follow, but hey, that doesn't mean you just throw it all out! Take them out, and sort them accordingly. It will also give you a clear idea of what you have and what needs to be thrown away or donated.
2. Make use of storage containers:
The next step after categorizing them is, keeping the small items in these containers so that they don't get lost in the back of your cupboard. Your earpiece, bangles, chains, and watches, it's better if they are inside a stored container so that you can get them whenever you want. If you find a hard time finding the right type of container then we suggest you just grab one from the kitchen.
3. Keep frequently worn items easily accessible:
Items that you wear frequently should be kept within easy reach, so you don't have to dig through your closet to find them. If it is that maroon sweatshirt you love so much, keep it reachable so that you can grab it anytime you want.
4. Think differently:
Okay, this is not a tagline of apple, but productive advice that saves you space and time. If you are getting short of closet space, consider using under-bed storage containers to store items that you don't use as often. You can also make use of the back door, it is the best place to store smaller items like bags, scarves, or hats!
5. Keep it clean and play it cool:
Finally, the key to keeping your closet organised is to keep it clean. Make sure you wipe down the shelves and drawers regularly and take the time to reorganise things if they need to be more manageable.
Always remember patience is the key, don't expect things to get done in one day. It may take a few days or even weeks to get everything organised, but once you do, you'll be able to find what you need quickly and easily. Organizing your cupboard can seem daunting, but with a little planning and effort, you can have a neat and tidy space in no time.
