Ever since its invention, a fire has always been a fundamental and key element and has been of great importance to our species. Vastu Shastra also considers fire as a natural cleanser and believes it to help kill the negativity around. Earthen lamps and agarbatti or incense lighted twice a day can bring joy and positivity to your homes. The smoke is also believed to restrict bad energies and spirits from entering the house whereas the fragrance symbolizes the presence of good spirits in the house. Our favorites are natural scents like camphor, sandalwood, and jasmine.

2. Keep it Clean

It’s not like we need a reason to keep our homes clean at all times. But there are a few spots that are very important to Vastu that most of us overlook 9 times out of ten. The windows and their frames and the doors of our house should always be dust-free. According to the Vastu Shastra, opening them whenever possible encourages the financial flow and positive vibes, and closed or dirty doors and windows can stop the positive energy from entering your homes while blocking the negativity from getting out.

3. Lemon Water

When used in the wrong way, they can lead to family conflicts and disagreements. It is believed that body parts can develop health issues if mirrors reflect any part of your body when you are sleeping.
