After an exhausting week at work that seemed never ending, there is nothing better than to come home with the whole weekend to yourself. The weekend is a well deserved time for you to relax and recharge. So use it wisely. Below we have some fabulous tips for you to make the most of this time.
Soak in the Tub
It has probably been awhile since you last got to enjoy this luxury. Run the water to a considerable depth, sprinkle in any fragrances or fancy bath products then lie back and relax. If you have particularly sore muscles after this week you could try adding some Epsom salts to further treat those aching muscles.
Get Lost in A Book
Generally, your reading consists of work emails and letters. Now is the time to actually enjoy your reading experience. Lie outside in the sun or curl up by the fire and delve into that fictional world to escape for a few hours.
Explore the Great Outdoors
Do you have a park nearby that you can visit? Or perhaps you might be lucky enough to live near a forest or out in the countryside. Take the chance to explore these places and really look at the scenery around you. Are there some pretty flowers you have never noticed before? Maybe there is a wild berry bush hiding away, whose fruits you could taste.
Meet up with an Old Friend
As much as you love this person, you both lead super hectic lives and you just don't get to see each other that often. Organise a catch up. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just invite them round for coffee. Or if your house is a bit messy (though I bet they wouldn't even notice) suggest to go for a nice walk or maybe return to an old haunt. You will both enjoy it.
