Quick clean tip : Keep a non-toxic sanitizer in a spray bottle or sanitizing wipes handy in your kitchen and bathroom. Inexpensive cleaning supplies like baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and vinegar do an awesome job. Hydrogen peroxide, which is usually used to sanitize minor cuts, has amazing cleaning properties. Undiluted vinegar also produces similar results.

Counter-tops : Spray hydrogen peroxide on counter-tops and tile surfaces to disinfect and remove any dirt and stains. You can also use white vinegar to achieve the same result. Here are a few easy DIYs for the kitchen sink too.

Refrigerator : Spray inside the refrigerator with Hydrogen peroxide and let it stand for a few minutes. Then, wipe with a clean sponge or cloth.

Sponges and Dishrags : You can easily clean and disinfect sponges and dishrags by soaking them in hydrogen peroxide for about 20 minutes. Store sponges in a container with holes or a flowerpot with a drip tray to dry them faster. You can also store sponges vertically as shown in the picture.

Mirrors and glass surfaces : Clean mirrors/glass surfaces by spraying hydrogen peroxide and wiping with a micro-fiber cloth. You can also use a mixture of vinegar and water instead. 

Toilet bowl: To clean a toilet bowl, pour some hydrogen peroxide in and let it stand for half an hour before you flush. You can also use baking soda or borax in its place.

Bathtub : Spray hydrogen peroxide in the bathtub and let it stand for half an hour before you wash. This will remove soap scum and any dirt or stains. 2 cups of vinegar mixed with 2 cups of warm water achieve the same result!

Mold : Tackle fungal growth, mold and discoloration by spraying hydrogen peroxide on any surface with mold and mildew. Use vinegar instead to kill and dissolve fungus. Spray, let it stand for a while, and wipe away.

Faucets : For shiny faucets, wipe metal surfaces and faucets with rubbing alcohol. You can also use lemon oil with a micro-fiber cloth.

Dust : Use old socks to sweep floors and clean windows.
